Imagine if the next woman standing in that spotlight was YOU.
Every month, alongside our featured guest speaker, one different Good Woman Circle member will be selected to take the floor.
She might be a woman with an extraordinary business idea, a creative with something powerful to express or somebody whose personal story could change the way another woman sees her own life.
She might choose to deliver a speech, perform a poem, share spoken word, dance, sing or create her own unique performance. Perhaps she has always dreamed of delivering a TEDx-style talk but has never had the opportunity to try.
There is no single way to take the floor because there is no single way to be an extraordinary woman.
We don’t want to tell you how to use your voice. We want to give you somewhere to USE it.
Members can put themselves forward for consideration. Sometimes Jo and Debbie might also recognise something in a woman and encourage her to apply.
And when a woman is selected, we won’t simply hand her a microphone and expect her to work everything out alone.

One hour with Jo. Together, they will explore her voice, presence, confidence, storytelling, performance and the most powerful way to communicate what matters to her.
One hour with Debbie. Together, they will explore her purpose, professional or business message where relevant, and what she hopes to achieve from taking the floor.
Both founders will offer honest encouragement and practical preparation so she can step onto the stage feeling supported and ready to share her message.
Then the moment arrives.
Her name is announced. The spotlight comes on. Her sisters are there to celebrate her.
And the floor belongs to HER.

Jo & Debbie. Two completely different journeys. One very big idea.
Jo brings more than two decades of experience in creativity, performance, storytelling, personal development and helping people discover the brilliance within themselves.
Debbie brings over 30 years of international business experience, including investment, family offices, strategy and relationships across the Middle East and beyond.
Together, they bring different perspectives, complementary knowledge, international connections and a shared determination to create opportunities for women.
Each month, they will contribute their own experience and insights to Take the Floor.
Jo will also bring her original spoken-word poetry to the stage, exploring business, identity, womanhood, ambition, self-worth and the courage to be yourself. Her creative approach brings something very different to the traditional business conversation.

Both founders believe that knowledge should be shared, introductions should mean something and women should be able to enter important rooms without having to become somebody else.
