Why Good Woman Circle?

Because too many brilliant women are still waiting outside the room.

Good Woman Circle did not begin because the world needed another networking club.

It began because we kept seeing women with extraordinary stories, businesses, experience and ideas who were still missing one of two things.

Sometimes they needed the confidence, clarity and language to communicate what they already carried.

Sometimes they were completely ready and simply did not have access to the people who could move the idea forward.

And sometimes they needed both.

That is where GWC lives.

A woman in a purple suit and gold stiletto boots sits on a director's chair holding a card that reads Say it once. Mean it. Forever

Between the woman and the room. Between the idea and the opportunity. Between “One day…” and “The floor is yours.”

We are not interested in fixing women. We are interested in what happens when a woman remembers exactly what she carries and then somebody finally opens the right door.

That is why the new GWC is built around two signature experiences.

Take the Floor is about readiness. One helps you stand differently in the room.

Invest Forward is about access. The other helps create the room.

Together: Find your voice. Unlock your capital.

Our why: we want to close the investment gap. Event by event.

Not through another conversation about the problem. Through movement.

A woman gets seen.

An introduction gets made.

A founder meets somebody who understands what she is building.

An investor discovers a business they would not otherwise have found.

A conversation turns into a second conversation.

A second conversation becomes an opportunity.

An opportunity becomes investment.

That is movement. And that is what we want more of.

We create spaces where they can enter it as themselves.

Bring your story. Bring your culture. Bring your accent. Bring your personality. Bring your ambition. Bring your numbers. Bring your style.

Bring the part of you that spent years being told it was “too much.” Bring all of it.

Because the goal was never to make women easier for the room to digest.

We don’t teach women how to fit the room.

We did not arrive here through the same door. And thank goodness for that.

One journey has spent more than twenty years travelling through creativity, transformation, storytelling, people, stages, culture and helping somebody remember the part of themselves they had forgotten. The other has spent more than thirty years travelling through global business, international markets, investment, family offices, high level relationships and rooms where serious decisions are made, and has helped unlock more than £1BN of investment along the way.

Jo and Debbie stand shoulder to shoulder through the whole experience. Not one dealing with “the woman” while the other deals with “the business.” Both. Because women are not departments. And neither is GWC.

Two women. Two completely different journeys. One very big idea.

Jo Gorniak

“I love seeing something in somebody they have forgotten how to see in themselves.”

Jo has spent more than two decades working with people, creativity, transformation, storytelling and leadership. Her work has taken her from communities to international stages, from New York and Los Angeles to TEDx, government spaces, organisations, education and rooms she could never have imagined entering when her own journey began.

Alongside her husband Toby, Jo has spent more than 20 years building work rooted in creativity, people and transformation, contributing tens of thousands of volunteer hours and creating impact recognised through awards and institutions around the world.

But the bit Jo talks about most is rarely the award. It is the person. The woman who had forgotten how brilliant she was. The young person who finally found their voice. The person standing at the back of the room who nobody else had noticed yet.

Jo sees possibility in people, sometimes before they see it themselves. She is an actress, speaker, creative, storyteller, fashion lover, mum of six and a BIG believer that becoming more powerful should never require becoming less yourself.

Her work inside GWC brings together everything she has spent her life learning about voice, story, creativity, identity, presence, human connection and what happens when somebody finally remembers: Oh. THAT’S who I am.

Debbie Eacott

Decades inside the rooms other people are trying to get into.

Debbie brings more than 30 years of experience across international business, investment, family offices, corporations, institutional relationships and global markets. Her work has crossed borders, industries and cultures and taken her deep into the world of relationships, capital, opportunity and the conversations where major decisions actually happen.

She was building relationships across Dubai and the Middle East long before the region became the international business powerhouse people see today. Across her career, she has helped unlock significant investment globally and has built relationships with investors, CEOs, board members, family offices, decision makers and leaders across markets. She has also been recognised in Dubai among the Global 200 Women Power Leaders.

Debbie understands that access is rarely just about knowing somebody’s name. It is about trust. Timing. Credibility. The right introduction. And understanding what turns a conversation into movement.

Inside GWC, she brings that world into a space where women can access it without having to pretend to be somebody else first.

Shoulder to Shoulder. Heart to Heart.

Jo and Debbie do not stand at opposite ends of the process. They stand in it together. Through the preparation. The challenge. The pitch. The numbers. The story. The introductions. The confidence. The laughter. The nerves. The doors. The next move.

High end doesn’t have to mean cold.

We love beautiful spaces. We love fashion. We love great food. We love music. We love creativity.

We love the moment somebody stops giving the polished answer and finally tells you what they actually think.

We also love serious business, investment, strategy, numbers and conversations that go somewhere. Those things do not have to live in different worlds.

At GWC you can have the investor in the room and still have a personality.

You can talk capital and still laugh.

You can be ambitious without becoming hard.

You can be professional without editing the humanity out of yourself.

Serious business. With a heartbeat.
